Sanders Keel has recently given a few interviews to selected wrestling sites...the following news is based on his comments.

• The crowd will be smarter...it will be more realistic. They will act according to the action. They will cheer, boo, and go quiet.
• Two of the new modes in SD:JBI are definitely 6 man tag team and 6 man tornado tag...and there are more surprises planned.
• When asked about the speed of recovery after someone's just been put through a table, Sanders Keel said that Smackdown 2 sold greatly so doesn't think it was much of a problem. What we saw was very early, and we can expect improvements in this area. So it seems that he does think it was a problem because they're improving it. That was one of the biggest disappointments in SD2 as far as I'm concerned.
• No news yet whether The Undertaker's, Triple H's or Stone Cold proper music will be in the game.
• There will be more interaction in the backstage areas...no details yet but how great would it be for Big Show to through Kane through a plate glass window?
• The areas are larger and joined, so less loading. There will be a lot less loading between screens because of the PS2's extra power, not only in story mode but also going from one end of the arena to the other.
• There will be more weapons. No details yet but I expect tables to break differently and chairs to dent.
• As of yet, the commentators cannot be beaten up, but Sanders said that they are 3D models like all other characters so there seems to be a pretty good chance that you'll be able to. Look out Michael Cole, Stone Cold's after you!
